The Gateway | Weehawken, NJ

The design of this 153 unit residential building on the edge of the Hudson River directly accross from midtown Manhattan creates a visual threshold between Hoboken and Weehawken.  The "Gateway" is in stark opposition to the aging industrial zone from which it rises, creating a new image for Hudson County as one of the first buidlings visible upon crossing through the Lincoln Tunnel.  The design rises from a sliver of land between two vehicular bridges abutting a light rail line.  The building takes advantage of the spectacular views and sun exposure with walls of glass, a southern facing brise soleil, and a rooftop pool and deck.  Completed in 2015
